"Spare"
A groom patiently waits at fieldside during a match with an extra mallet and spare pony tacked and ready to play .
This framed bas relief is hand-cast polyurethane resin with a bronze finish. It was based on a photograph that Ann took at a local Memphis Polo Club match. It is an Open Edition casting and includes the Ann M. Moore Studios logo in the lower left corner of the sculpted image.
The 2011 Chukkers for Charity silent auction was held on Saturday, June 18th, 2011, at Riverview Farm in Franklin, TN. This year the silient auction netted over $10,000! Proceeds from the charity polo match and auction support the missions of Rochelle Center and Saddle Up! Rochelle Center provides assistance for adults with developmental disabilities. Saddle Up! is a recreational therapeutic horseback riding program for children and youth with disabilities.
